How It Works (Simple & Clear)

1. Pay entry fee (one-time) to unlock the 30-day Health Learning Hub.

2. Study the articles, videos, and practice quizzes on the current topics (e.g., malaria, diabetes).

3. On Contest Day, log in and take the 100-question live quiz in 10 minutes.

4. Your score is calculated using: Score = (Correct Answers × 10) – (Time Taken in Seconds × 0.1)

What if two people have the same score?

We reward both accuracy and speed:

Final Score = (Number of Correct Answers × 10) − (Total Time Taken in Seconds × 0.1)

Example:

• You answer 80 questions correctly

• You finish in 8 minutes (480 seconds)
  → Score = (80 × 10) – (480 × 0.1) = 800 – 48 = 752

Faster + more correct = higher score!

Welcome to Win A Trip! These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and participation in our health education platform and contests. By accessing the site, paying the entry fee, or joining any quiz, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us: Win A Trip is an online health education and contest platform operated by OrumaCare, a health-focused organization. We provide educational content on important health topics (such as malaria, diabetes, and HIV/AIDS...) and run skill-based quizzes with exciting prizes.

2. The Service: For a one-time entry fee, you get 30 days of access to the Health Learning Hub. This includes:

• Articles, videos, and infographics on the current health topic

• Unlimited practice quizzes

• Entry to the live monthly contest quiz (100 questions in 10 minutes)

The live contest is open only during the announced date and time. Practice mode is available anytime within your 30-day access.

3. Payment and Access: The entry fee is a one-time payment for the 30-day educational platform and contest entry. Payments are processed securely through our payment partners (RazorPay, Paystack and Stripe). Once paid, access is granted immediately and is non-refundable, except where required by law. Your access expires automatically after 30 days. You may repurchase for future topics if you wish.

4. The Quiz Rules: The live contest consists of 100 multiple-choice questions on the current health topic. You have exactly 10 minutes to complete as many as possible. Questions are randomized for fairness — everyone gets the same question bank but in a different order. Scoring is automatic and transparent:
Final Score = (Number of Correct Answers × 10) – (Total Time Taken in Seconds × 0.1)
In case of a tie, the participant who finished faster ranks higher. You may only take the live quiz once per contest cycle. Multiple attempts or use of unauthorized tools will result in disqualification.

5. Prizes: Prizes are awarded to the top 3 scorers:

• 1st Place.

• 2nd Place.

• 3rd Place.

All prizes are fully funded by OrumaCare — your entry fee is used only for platform access and operations, never for prizes.

Winners will be notified by email and/or SMS within 1 hour after the contest ends. The leaderboard is published on the site shortly after.

Prizes must be claimed within 30 days. Cash prizes are paid via bank transfer or mobile money. Travel prizes are subject to availability and standard travel terms (e.g., valid passport required).
We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if needed.

6. Referral Program: You can earn 25% for each friend who:

• Uses your unique referral code

• Pays the entry fee

• Gains access to the platform

Rewards are capped at 100 referrals per user.
Rewards are paid by OrumaCare within 1 day after the referred user completes payment.
Referral rewards are not funded from participant fees.

7. Eligibility: You must be 14 years or older (or have parental consent if under 14 in your country) to participate.
Employees of OrumaCare and their immediate family members are not eligible for prizes.
The contest is open worldwide, but prize fulfillment (especially travel) may have country-specific restrictions.

8. Fair Play and Conduct: We expect all participants to act fairly. Cheating, using bots, sharing answers during the live quiz, or any form of unfair advantage will result in immediate disqualification and possible ban from future contests.
You agree not to disrupt the site or interfere with other users.

9. Privacy and Data: We collect your name, email, phone number, and payment details to provide the service and notify winners.
Your personal data is protected and used only for platform access, contest management, and prize delivery. We do not sell your data.
Quiz answers and scores are stored anonymously on the leaderboard (display name only).

10. Changes and Cancellation: We may update these terms at any time — changes will be posted on this page with the updated date.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a contest due to technical issues or low participation, with full communication to users.

11. Limitation of Liability: Win A Trip and OrumaCare are not responsible for technical failures, internet issues, or any loss arising from participation (except where prohibited by law).
Prizes are awarded "as is" without additional warranties.
